This is my 3rd or 4th book by Darrin Lowery...loved the storyline, but it wasn't my favorite book. You have the familiar story of married man (Mark) who cheats on his loving wife (Deja). Mark's mistress wants him by any and all means and will stop at nothing to get him, so when Deja finds out that mark is sleeping with her co-worker (and enemy) Mercedes it sets off a wave of emotions in Deja and she tries to work it out with Mark. But Mark can only think with his other head - following that 80/20 rule from Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married". Needless to say the grass isn't greener on the other side and Mark learns his lesson. But is it too late for Mark and Deja. And what does Deja do. Not to give away too much of the storyline - let's just say Deja served it up it ICE COLD. I didn't even see it coming (and that was the best part of the book in my opinion).I gave the book 4 stars only because of Mr. Lowery's gratitious self marketing of himself in the book as well as casting himself as a relationship therapist. But I'll keep reading, as Mr. Lowery has a unique imagination...

I read this book in two days. This book was an awesome read. Some guys forget what they have at home and think what looks good on the outside is good on the inside. I have read other books by Darren L. and he continues to keep my interest.
I was so mad at Mark in the beginning, but at the end I felt sorry for him! In the end Deja found true happiness. Every woman should read this book!
Totally outside of my norm and I loved every bit of it. A quick and very enjoyable two-day read! Loved it.
I love this book and the author. There was a balance of the characters and the way the story was developed. Amazing how what happens when you cheat and pick the other person. I was happy to see that the wife too the higher road. In the end the husband got what he deserved. I would love to see a sequel to this book.
You will be the one burned!!!! And she did it with CLASS! I have read books by this author before, so I knew that I was going to be in for a treat!....needless to say, he did not disappoint!! he knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat waiting for the next bombshell to drop! The story flows with ease and excitement all rolled up in one!
The more I find books by this author the more I am impressed. He is really intense with his story lines and I love it. This book lets you know that what goes around comes around and what's done in the dark will surely come to the light. What a story line! Darrin you are a wonderful author and your stories are so true to life. As I have said before you have found a fan for life. I will continue to read as you continue to write. Keep up the great work and keep the true to life books coming! All I will tell you readers is Mercedes is a freak for sure. I hope and pray most mistresses aren't this provocative and willing to go to such lengths to get a man!
This is a great story about a sweet and innocent wife, who's husband's betrayal tore their family apart. Lies, deceit and the ego of this husband was his own downfall. Warned of his actions, his ego was to big to hear. Promises to his wife and God would not stop him. In the end he destroyed himself and almost left his wife a broken and shattered woman. But new friendships and good friends keep this strong and beautiful woman on her feet with her head held high. I love this story and can see it as one book I will read twice. I RECOMMEND THIS ENDEARING AND STRONGLY TOLD TALE TO EVERYONE. READ HOW SOMEONE WITH IT ALL CAN, DESTROY IT ALL BY THEMSELVES. PLEASE PURCHASE THIS BOOK
